Collection: Engineered Timber Flooring

Engineered timber has a genuine timber surface supported by a layered core for improved stability. Solid timber is made from one piece of wood, while hybrid flooring uses a manufactured rigid core with a timber-look surface. Engineered timber is suited to customers wanting natural timber character and variation.

Selected engineered timber products can be installed over properly prepared concrete. The slab must be dry, sufficiently level and moisture-tested, and an approved moisture barrier, adhesive or underlay may be required. Follow the installation method specified for the individual flooring range.

Some engineered timber ranges are compatible with underfloor heating, subject to specified temperature limits, moisture conditions and installation methods. Compatibility must be confirmed in the supplier’s technical documentation before purchase because excessive heat or changing humidity can affect natural timber.

Engineered timber warranties vary by range and may provide separate structural and surface-wear coverage. Correct moisture testing, subfloor preparation, installation and maintenance are normally required.
