🔄 Returns & Refunds Policy — Nextyl

At Nextyl, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We encourage customers to contact us prior to ordering if you require assistance in selecting the correct product.

This policy operates in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.


⚖️ Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:

• Is faulty or defective
• Is damaged in transit
• Is significantly different from its description
• Does not perform as intended

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.


🔁 Change of Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns under the following conditions:

Eligibility

• Return request must be made within 14 days of delivery
• Item must be unused and uninstalled
• Original packaging must be intact
• Product must be in resale condition
• Proof of purchase is required


Exchange & Store Credit

• Approved change-of-mind returns will be issued as store credit or exchange
• Store credit is valid for 3 months
• Store credit is not redeemable for cash


Change-of-Mind Costs

• Original delivery fees are non-refundable
• Return shipping is paid by the customer
• A restocking / repackaging fee of up to 15% may apply if packaging is opened or damaged

Final fees are determined after inspection.

Nextyl reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.


📦 Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

If your item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect:

• Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide clear photos/videos
• Include your order number

Once assessed, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where applicable.

Approved faulty returns will have return shipping covered by Nextyl.


🧱 Tiles & Hybrid Flooring — Important Conditions

Due to batch, shade, and manufacturing variations:

Returns Accepted Only If:

• Product is defective
• Product is damaged in transit
• Incorrect product supplied

Returns Not Accepted If:

❌ Cartons are opened
❌ Product is installed
❌ Colour or shade variation occurs
❌ Quantity ordered is incorrect
❌ Product is clearance or special order

Important Notes:
• Please inspect tiles and flooring before installation
• Installation is deemed acceptance of goods
• We recommend ordering 10% extra for wastage

No claims will be accepted after installation.


🍳 Appliances & Third-Party Products

Appliances and hot water systems supplied by third-party manufacturers are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

Conditions

• Must be installed by a licensed professional
• Proof of installation may be required
• Warranty claims are assessed by the manufacturer

Returns are not accepted for:
❌ Change of mind after installation
❌ Incorrect installation
❌ Misuse or negligence

Nextyl will assist customers with warranty claims where possible.


🪞 LED Mirrors & Fragile Items

• Must be inspected upon delivery
• Damage must be reported within 48 hours
• Original packaging must be retained

Claims outside this timeframe may not be accepted.


🔧 Installation Responsibility

It is the installer’s responsibility to inspect products prior to installation.

Nextyl is not responsible for:

• Incorrect installation
• Installation of damaged items
• Non-compliant plumbing or electrical work

Products installed despite visible defects are not eligible for return.


💳 Refund Processing

• Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Bank processing times may vary


⚠️ Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty, the following items cannot be returned:

• Installed or used products
• Opened tile and flooring cartons
• Clearance items
• Custom or special orders
• Third-party appliances after installation
• Products not in resale condition
